William T. Chaney Jr. is an ordained elder in the Baltimore-Washington Conference. For more than 25 years he has served in the ministry. Pastor Chaney was the church planter of The Rock and Infinite Grace Churches. He has also served as a minister of music, young adult pastor, Discipleship Adventure Guide, and District Superintendent of the Baltimore Metropolitan District. In July 2014, William joined the Path 1 team as the New Church Strategist for the Southeastern Jurisdiction and African American church planting Rev. Chaney is certified as a a DISC facilitator, and organizational development consultant. William is a graduate of Candler School of Theology at Emory University, one of the 13 United Methodist seminaries. Along with his degree, he earned certificates in Christian Education and Black Church Studies. He is married to the Rev. Michelle Holmes Chaney and they have a daughter, Courtney Elizabeth Chaney.
